Handling Fee Settings

The Handling Fee feature in WowShipping allows you to add an extra charge to customer orders. This can help cover packaging, processing, or other operational costs. The settings are flexible, letting you decide how the fee is applied and whether it is taxable.

How to Set Up Handling Fee in WowShipping

Easily add extra charges to orders with handling fees. Choose how they are calculated, where they apply, and whether they are taxable.

  1. Enable Handling Fee by toggling the switch on.
  2. Select type: Fixed Amount (e.g., $5) or Percentage (e.g., 2%).
  3. Enter the fee value in currency or percent.
  4. Choose where to apply: Entire Order or Per Item.
  5. If Per Item, the fee multiplies by product quantity (e.g., $2 × 3 items = $6).
  6. Decide if the fee is Taxable or not.
  7. If Taxable, the fee will follow your store’s tax rules.
