The FedEx integration in WowShipping allows you to display live FedEx shipping rates directly at checkout using real-time carrier data.

Here’s how to connect FedEx with WowShipping.
Step 1: Select FedEx as Your Carrier
Follow these steps to set up FedEx:
- Create a new shipping method or open an existing one you want to configure.
- Choose Carrier Live Rates as the shipping rate calculation method.
- Select FedEx from the list of available carriers.
Once selected, the FedEx Account configuration section will appear.
Step 2: Connect Your FedEx Account
After selecting FedEx, authenticate your account:
- Scroll to the FedEx Account section.
- Click Connect Account.
- A modal titled Manage FedEx Account will open.
- Enter your Account Number, API Key, API Secret, and Meter Number.
- Click Save to complete the connection.
Note: You’ll need to obtain your FedEx API credentials from your FedEx Developer account. These are typically available in the FedEx Developer Portal after creating an application. If you don’t have credentials, you’ll need to register with FedEx first.
Once connected successfully, you’ll see the confirmation message: “Account connected successfully!”
Step 3: Configure FedEx Shipping Options
After connecting your account, configure the shipping method details.
1. Select Environment
Choose the environment you want to use:
- Test – Recommended while setting up and validating rates
- Live – Use this to display real FedEx rates at checkout
2. Select Product
Choose the FedEx service you want to offer from the Service dropdown. This includes domestic and international options such as overnight, express, ground, and economy services.
The selected service determines the shipping rate, delivery timeframe, and service level shown to customers at checkout. Choose a service that aligns with your fulfillment process, delivery speed requirements, and customer expectations.
How to Add Multiple FedEx Services
WowShipping allows you to offer multiple FedEx services by creating separate shipping methods. To do this:
- Create a new shipping method.
- Select Carrier Live Rates → FedEx again.
- Your FedEx account will already be connected, so no credentials are required.
- Choose a different FedEx service.
- Configure unique settings for that shipping method.
This approach gives customers more delivery options while allowing you to maintain full control over pricing and service availability.
