FastX is a Free WordPress Full Site Editing Theme that is fully compatible with the PostX Gutenberg Builder Plugin.
The steps for the installation and customization of the theme are easy to follow. But first, you need to fulfill some requirements.
Requirements
For the FastX Theme to function properly, you will need to have the following:
- WordPress version 6.1
- PHP version 7.4

Installing the Theme
You can install the theme on your WordPress site in the following ways:
Installing from the Dashboard
To install the FastX theme, you need to:
- From your admin dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes
- Click on Add New Theme
- In the Search Box, search for FastX
- Finally, Install and Activate the theme
Uploading Theme File from WordPress
To upload the theme, first, you need to download it from the WordPress theme directory. To do so:
- Go to the following link: wordpress.org/themes
- Search for the FastX theme and click on the Download button
It will download the zip file of FastX.
To install FastX with the zip file:
- Go to Appearance > Themes
- Click on Add New Theme
- Click on Upload Theme
- Upload the zip file and click on Install Now
- Click on the Activate button
Customizing the Theme
You can customize the FastX theme to your preferences easily.
Color and Typography
You have 10 different styles to choose from for the overall look of your website. You can further customize the color and typography to give it a unique look.
To change the style:
- Go to Appearance > Editor
- Navigate to the Styles section
- Click on the pencil icon to fine-tune the settings
Page Templates
Using the FSE capability of FastX, you can create and customize templates for essential pages such as Front Page, Blog Page, Single Posts, and so on.
To customize a page template:
- In the Theme Editor view, navigate to the Templates section
- From the template list, choose the one you want to edit
- Click on any block or add new blocks to customize
Template Parts
Template parts are a collection of reusable blocks. These can be headers, footers, sidebars, and other parts of a page.
FastX provides several premade template parts that you can use directly. Also, you can customize them as you like.
To customize a template part:
- Navigate to the Patterns tab from the Theme Editor view
- Choose any template part
- Click on any block and edit its settings
And done, you have customized the template part successfully.
