The UPS integration in WowShipping allows you to display live UPS shipping rates directly at checkout using real-time carrier data.

Here’s how to connect UPS with WowShipping.

Step 1: Select UPS as Your Carrier

Follow these steps to set up UPS:

1. Create a new shipping method or open an existing one you want to configure.
2. Choose Carrier Live Rates as the shipping rate calculation method.
3. Select UPS from the list of available carriers.

Once selected, the UPS Account configuration section will appear.

Step 2: Connect Your UPS Account

After selecting UPS, authenticate your account:

1. Scroll to the UPS Account section.
2. Click Connect Account.
3. A modal titled Manage UPS Account will open.
4. Enter your UPS Account Number, Client ID, and Client Secret.
5. Click Save to complete the connection.

Note: You’ll need to obtain your API credentials from your UPS developer account. These are typically available in the UPS Developer Portal after creating an application. If you don’t have credentials, you’ll need to register with UPS first.

Once connected successfully, you’ll see the confirmation message: “Account connected successfully!”

Step 3: Configure UPS Shipping Options

After connecting your account, configure the shipping method details.

1. Select Environment

Choose the environment you want to use:

• Test – Recommended while setting up and validating rates
• Live – Use this to display real UPS rates at checkout

2. Select Product / Service

Choose the UPS service you want to offer from the Service dropdown. This includes domestic and international options such as ground, standard, express, and expedited services.

The selected service determines the shipping rate, delivery timeframe, and service level shown to customers at checkout. Choose a service that aligns with your fulfillment workflow, delivery speed expectations, and customer needs.

How to Add Multiple UPS Services

WowShipping allows you to offer multiple UPS services by creating separate shipping methods. To do this:

1. Create a new shipping method.
2. Select Carrier Live Rates → UPS again.
3. Your UPS account will already be connected, so no credentials are required.
4. Choose a different UPS service.
5. Configure unique settings for that shipping method.

This approach gives customers more delivery options while allowing you to maintain full control over pricing and service availability.
